Cusco “The navel of the world” is the main tourist destination in Peru. Located in southern Peru, it has been declared a cultural heritage of humanity by Unesco. Cusco is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, a mixture of cultures that can be seen throughout the city.
The Cusco Tourist Ticket (B.T.C) is administered by the Committee of Integrated Services of Cultural Tourism-Cusco (COSITUC) formed by the Provincial Municipality of Cusco, the Culture Department of Cusco and the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism. COSITUC is the organization in charge of the collection, administration and distribution of the resources obtained by the sale of the Tourist Ticket of Cusco.
This ticket allows you to enter 16 tourist attractions that are located in the city of Cusco, adjacent places and nearby valleys such as the southern valley and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Enjoy a tour of its palaces, squares and temples that are the great legacy of the Inca empire.
Types of tourist ticket:
Unlike the tickets for Machu Picchu, the Cusco tourist ticket does not have to be booked in advance, the tourist ticket for Cusco can only be purchased in the city of Cusco in person and with your passport.
Cusco comprehensive tourist ticket for foreign students – BEE
The BEE is for foreign students who can prove their status with a student card or letter, as well as an international student card (International Student Identicard). It will be valid depending on the student’s country of origin, the presentation of a valid university’s school cards, or the passport that indicates their condition. Only available for students 25 years old or younger.
Cusco Comprehensive Tourist Ticket for national tourists – BIN
It is a type of promotional ticket for national tourists. Holders of this ticket must prove their status with their national identity document.
Cusco comprehensive tourist ticket for national students – BEN
It is a type of promotional ticket for national students, the holders of this ticket must check their status with a student card and national identification.

Where to buy the Cusco tourist ticket?
These are the places where you can buy the Cusco tourist ticket:
COSITUC Main Office: Tourist Galleries, Av. Sol No. 103 (Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).
OFFEC offices: Garcilaso Street (Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.).
Important information:
The Cusco tourist ticket does not include the entrance to Machu Picchu.
Does not include guide or transportation services.
The validity of the tourist ticket starts from the day of purchase (check the validity of each ticket).
The ticket can only be used once at each tourist attraction.
It is not necessary to book the Cusco Tourist Ticket in advance, you can buy it in person, once in Cusco.
