If treks are part of your lifestyle, this one is especially for you. Choquequirao was one of the last Inca shelters to be in the middle of a canyon with a depth of more than 2000 meters and the Vilcabamba mountain range with its glaciers with 5000 meters high. This tour is one of the most exciting challenges, which is why you must have special preparation before doing the next itinerary, the reward at the end of the trip will be the great satisfaction of having done it in 3 intense days of walking.

In Capuliyoc at 2,800 m.a.s.l. , it will be our breakfast and place where our backpacks will be packed by our muleteers , (each passenger has the option of sending the weight of 7 kilograms of luggage on our horses). From this point begins our walk, we will arrive at the viewpoint where we can observe the Vilcabamba mountain range with its impressive glaciers, the Apurímac river with its canyon and its incredible panorama. The first two and a half hours we will descend by a zig zag road to the hamlet of Chiquisca 1,800 masl where we will have a traditional lunch, then we will continue descending for 50 more minutes until we reach the bridge of Playa Rosalina at 1,500 m.a.s.l. , lowest point. Then, near noon we will wait for our lunch, which our chef will bring to Choquequirao, after lunch we will take a 20-minutes break and our guide will help you, to visit the astronomer’s house where probably if we are lucky we can observe the condor flying through the sky Andean, we will also visit the platforms and waterfall of Pacchayoc, place where you will be in contact with nature.
